My sister managed to find green corduroy overalls with little purple flowers all over them for the Goodwill ball two Mondays ago. They are now in my possession to be cut so they have shorts. I really want to wear them this summer:) As you can see, I found some MC Hammer pants and a Beetlejuice jacket

I had a gig yesterday night at my mom's friend's cafe. The crowd was really nice, and the energy I got from performing made me want to do it more! I don't have a band behind me, which would be nice. Ya know, have a more full sound and what not. I've got some stuff in the works though :)

I need to get more motivated. I've had such a drive about me for the past 3 days, and now it's wearing off :( Kinda like coming off a sugar high.

Last night I went and saw the roomate. My friend, Lindsey, and I were like the third wheel out. I don't know if that was our other friends intention..... But Linds and I ended up being sandwiched between two couples. Yay for them being romantic in the movie theatre!......
Anyways, the movie was good. I was expecting it to have more scary parts, it was mostly story and then the very end was the climatic part. And the climatic part didn't last that long. I also didn't like the love interest. He squinted too much...

whoops... forgot to take off my keys...

Adam didn't go to the movies with us because he was back at his house entertaining guests from his Eagle scout ceremony. It was a nice ceremony. There was a slide show at the beginning showing his "trail to the Eagle" and it was cute. It kinda grounded me to see what his life was like before me, haha.

The Goodwill ball is tomorrow and I am sooo excited! I'm for sure taking pictures of the outfits!

The third day of Hell week was animal day. I told my inductee to dress up like an elephent. I was envisioning her stuffing her shirt and making a trunk, and she came to school like this.... At least she was showing an effort, right?

Date night

Last night was a wonderful night. Why? Well, because my wonderful boyfriend treated me to a date night. We went to dinner at a place called Pico Rojo, and afterwards we saw some senior theatre projects at a high school known for it's theatre. It's not that often that we get to go out on dates, being in high school and all, so it's nice to be treated by him.

The senior projects were enjoyable. The kids at that school are so talented, it's really inspiring. It makes me want to become more involved in theatre.

I tend to want to be good at many things, I've been realizing. It tends to get frustrating. For instance, I want to be a recording artist, but also a great choral singer. Then I want to be a great actor and musical theatre performer. I also have a longing to be a dancer, but then I'm also in a pipe band. I need to focus in on what I want to do, make a decision. Lately, I've been yearning to become a recording artist the most. There's just so much potential in me, I just need to figure out where to apply it.

Tonight, my plans are to go to Adam's Eagle Scout ceremony. I'm excited about it, not gonna lie. It's supposed to be a big honor and such, and I'm proud of him.

There's not much going on in my life right now. I didn't have any homework tonight, which is a rare occurrence. I really want to get started on some sewing projects, the pile of things I want to hem or take in is increasing while my motivation is dwindling...

I got inducted into the Spanish Honor Society tonight. Pretty cool stuff. I came in right as the ceremony was starting because I was in a time crunch. I had a college class today that ended at 6:45, and the ceremony started at 7. Buttttt, it was all cool. Apparently Senora said that "she looks cute even when she's late". Haha

I went shopping for the goodwill ball yesterday, and I got some superb stuff, I gotta tell ya! MC Hammer-esque pants and a Striped cropped blazer ( I was told it looked like something Beetlejuice would wear) For those of you that don't know what the Goodwill ball is, it's basically an event put on by a club I'm in, where everyone goes to a thrift store and buys an ugly outfit

Moving right along, Tuesday of last week was mime day for the thespian inductees.

My inductee had to dress up like a member of the blue man group and do a performance at the end of the day with all the other inductees dressed up like blue men group members. She made me proud :)

As you all know, Monday was Valentine's day. It was also mine and Adam's 10 month. Monday was also the day I was reminded of how romantic my boyfriend could be. Story timeee

Alright, Monday, we had off of school. Yay for me, right? I'll spend all of Valentine's day with him! Well, not so much. Adam had a rehearsal for a senior project he's in scheduled that day from 9 to 2 at a school like, 45 minutes away. Well, I wasn't that bummed about it actually, because that meant I got to sleep in later, and be well rested when I got to hang out with Adam later in the day.
So, I had the mindset that I wouldn't be hanging out with him until later, no big deal. He had other plans for that though. At 7:30, I'm woken up by my boyfriend, flowers in one hand, a teddy bear in the other, and a giant smile on his face. I love his romantic side :) Definitely the best Valentine's day ever:)

Sooo, Valentine's day. This is the first Valentines day that I have someone to celebrate it with. It's been pretty awesome so far, I must say, considering I was woken up by A. In my room. With a dozen roses and a little bear. I was in my pajamas and had disheveled hair, but he didn't care. It's also our 10 month today. He's a pretty awesome kid, I must say.

I wore this last Monday, during Hell Week. On this day, the inductees were assigned to dress like their inductor. This was my inductee's attempt at dressing like me. Points for trying....

I was hoping she'd at least wear a high waist skirt or something! Tights, a vest, a scarf! But it is what it is.

Hopefully, I'll be going out on a date later tonight with A. :)

I'm busy busy lately. I finished my comp I paper, and I'm turning it in today. I have to catch myself up on two lessons of math before Thursday so I can take my test and be able to pass it. I need to fill out forms for induction into the Spanish Honor Society to be turned in by tomorrow. I need to get my Thespian induction stuff in order, andddd I need to clean.

So, my school system is a tad bit stupid. At the beginning of second semester, I was put in English 3 honors, which I requested not to be put in, because I'm enrolled in Comp I at my community college. That class satisfies my english credit, so I don't need to be taking an extra english class at the high school. They put me in one anyways.... And took away my Pre-Calc class, which I need to fulfill having a math credit, so I can graduate and move on with my life blahblahblah. So, I sent in a schedule change form, and waited for my new schedule. And waited. Last week on Friday, one of my friends came up to me and told me that my math teacher had been marking me absent. And I was like "that's weird, because I never got a schedule telling me that I had that class". Turns out I got switched into the class and I never got sent a new schedule. Stupid.

I have to have all my thespian induction things put together by Thursday to give to my inductee by Friday. I decided that I'm making her be Peter Pan for character day. I bought her stuff to make a hat for me. We also make them do challenges, and one of the ones she'll have to do is make a scarf for me. I bought a white square of fabric, some pearl like beads, some black beads, and some.... cool beads. I hope she's creative! I still need to figure out an animal to make her be for animal day. Any ideas?

Today I also signed up to be a belly-like dancer in my school musical. I didn't get a lead, so I'm trying to get as many little parts as i can! Haha.

I auditioned for my school play, Aida, on Wednesday. The results came in today and I didn't get a principal part. Oh well, you can't win 'em all, ya know? There are many little parts, so I'm bound to still get a part.

I have to start organizing stuff for inductions into the International Thespian Society. I'm an inductor this year. I think I want to do my theme as Grease. I believe my inductee would enjoy dressing up as Sandy.

1. Red Red by Hand it Over
I'm really lusting for a cream cardigan to pair with my dresses right now. White is too bright and black is too dark. I've also just been attracted to bold colors lately. Like dark reds, dark purples and dark green, and this dress is a nice red.

I would absolutely never think of pairing a leopard print with red, never in my wildest dreams, but it looks absolutely stunning here. I just think she's beautiful in general too. I'm not creeping or anything.

I went to a show Saturday to see my friend's band, Bear Mountain Brigade, and this is what I wore.
Remember when I said I bought stuff at the thrift store when I went to go apply for a job? Wellll, her's a skirt from that. I seriously love it. Purple and short-ish and tight-ish, a nice change from what has become the norm in my closet.

I did my makeup too, just for the heck of it, went for the winged look.

I started my first day of dual enrollment classes today at my community college. So far, so good. My exams are coming up though.... Not too excited about Physics and Pre-Calc.... I'll manage like I always do though...

I believe I wore this Friday.... Yeahhh, I tend to not post my outfits the day I wear them.

I went to go see my friend's band play at a bar last night, and oh my goodness, they are so good! Their style of songwriting has completely changed since I played a show with them. What blew me away was their use of instruments. They had a xylophone and a weird little instrument that I can't seem to remember the name of.... Once I get my phone back, I'll look it up and put a picture of it up here.
So anyways, you're probably saying "So what, big deal, people have instruments in bands like that all the timeee", well, the wow factor for me is that these boys are still in high school, and they have all of these dynamics and what not. Mannnn, I just have respect for them as artists, because I don't have the talent they have.

I wore this Wednesday and didn't really have the energy to go outside and take pictures because I was studying for a pre-calc and physics test. I had a history test the next day also, but I didn't study for it. I ended up getting an A on it though! I got a 74 on the physic test and I don't know what I got on the pre-calc class. He never does tell us...
Anywho, after school yesterday, I went out to my local thrift store to get a job application, cause I reallyyyyyy wanna work there. (They hire people like, 10 seconds after they fire someone though. It's ridiculous...) Even though I had no intention to, I bought some things while I was there. A purple mini skirt, a red skirt (need to hem), a skirt with a chevron print on it (need to finish hemming), a blue shirt with a parrot on it, and a shirt with some nice lace detail on it. It's from Fredericks of Hollywood.... Which is a lingerie store in my mall... So it may be lingerie.....

She's doing this really cool thing, "dressember". And I have to give her points for sticking to it, because I know that I wouldn't want to wear a dress every day of December, my legs would freeze! The color of her tights is a beautiful deep rich red, and I now have an eye out looking for a pair like that.

2. Robes and Furred Gowns Hide All by The Clothes Horse

Okay, seriously, how awesome is that cardigan?! Just thinking about having a cardigan like that makes me happy. It would make so many outfits look cooler. Gahhhh, you have no idea.

3. A Partridge in a Pear Tree by Jess Loves Fred

When I saw this red dress, I instantly regretted not buying a dress the same color at a thrift store the other day. That dress didn't have pleats, like this one, so it wasn't as awesome, but red is such a vibrant, beautiful color to have a dress be. And seriously, with the coat-sequin thing? B-e-a-utiful.

4. The Winner is by Hand it over

I reallly like double breasted things. Preferably in navy, soooo, obviously, I like her coat. Her shorts are super fun, kind of like a navajo print, looks like they'd be fun to wear. And lovee her lace shirt.

5. Hallelujah by The Stylish Wanderer

Gosh, I just seriously love the color combination here. I would never have thought to pair the two. Color wise or style wise. I mean, the jacket seems way too casual for the dress, but together they create a unique look. I also like the stiffness of the dress, if that makes sense.

6. It's time for mistletoe and holly by Chic Heorin

This is her childhood coat. Like, seriously? I can't imagine how big it was on her when she was a child. Her dress, the skirt of it is a beautiful dark red velvet. Mhhh, it's beautiful paired with the lace of the top.

I went out on a friend date with my boyfriend's best friend today at Hooters. Heyheyhey, we only went there because he had a $25 gift certificate. And for your information, I prefer Wing house over Hooters. It's just the atmosphere I guess. Anyways, I got snow crab legs. Delishhhhh.

Auditions for my school's musical, Aida, are coming up soon. I have to have a one minute monolouge and sing 16 bars of a song. Aida is kinda like a rock opera, and I don't really know that my voice is capable of handling that, but I figure I'll still try, ya know?

Also, induction stuff for the International Thespian Society is nearing closer. For any of you long time readers, you'll know that I got inducted into the ITS last year, and had to go through hell week. Now I get to do that to someone this year :)

In Janurary I celebrated the new year with friends, I made my 100th post, went on a ski trip, and went through hell week and got inducted into the International Thespian Society

Feburary

I got my first pair of boots and took my dive into mixing prints.

March

I had my one year blog-a-versary, I got my first and only (so far) free item from a fashion website, I started wearing skirts more, started wearing patterned tights more, and I had one of my first professional performances as an artist

April

I started experimenting with makeup, I had a door kicked into my forehead, my obsession with vests grew, A asked me out :), I became more focused on finding shoes, and I made a confession,

May

I went to a Thespian Banquet, I bought some rompers, had my 1 month with A, and went to a chorus banquet.

June

I finished my sophomore year in high school, got my first pair of high waist jean shorts, bought my first pair of man shoes, sang at graduation, went to Ikea, My parents opened a cafe, I discovered a cute shop in my city, I started having shows at the cafe with a fellow artist,

July

I finally got some new shoes, went to a pioneer camp and got a mini guitar (okay.... stole it..from A)

August

I started Wonderful Wardrobes, bought a ukulele, I also started Totally Awesome Tunes, I got a gig at a cafe in Clearwater, and I started my junior year in high school,

September

I auditioned for "You Can't Take it With You" at my school and got the part of the Gramd Duchess Olga Katrina, I went to the Dali museum, had a photo shoot, went to the flea market with a friend, celebrated my and A's 5-month by going to a goodwill, I realized that I should appreciate everything in life,

October

I went to Halloween Horror nights, dressed up crazy for homwecoming week, then went to homecoming, and had a ukulele photo shoot with my friend.

November

I took a break from thrifting because of a bed bug epedemic :(, got my pictureein the yearbook, twice!, was in a musical theatre review of shows, went on Thanksgiving break, and got a car!

December

I got my first winter coat!, bought a Christmas tree, got around to posting pictures from when A and I hung out a while back, ordered a pair of oxfords, got lost in my car, went to thespian districts, enjoyed time with the fam, and got a new guitar.

What a good year :)

My wonderful boyfriend took me to the international mall yesterday, which has an Urban Outfitters in it. Andddd that's where I spent most of my time for the day, which he wasn't too happy about, but oh well:) I got this shirt, this cardigan, a skirt, and black flats. My boyfriend and I also saw a ginger family. It was a trifecta of beautiful-ness. Ginger mommy, ginger daddy and ginger baby. I almost exploded from my excitement! Basically, we creeped on them for the rest of the time we were in the mall, haha.

I brought the new year in with good friends, good food, and a free guitar. Some people on this world are so nice. I am so thankful for the things and people in my life.

I love the look of vintage Dooney and Bourke, and this may be a knock off, but it's still good enough for me, haha :)

My shoes also came in the mail. BEAUTIFUL.

Ergggg, there used to be a really awesome pinecone in that necklace, but it fell out today while I was at Barnes&Noble. I bought a really nice leather journal while I was there, though. I resolve to make an entry in it every day. One of my many resolutions....

Went to Yogurt Mountain with my friends today! Gahh, that place is so magical :) They have an assortment of frozen yogurt. And toppings. I got Vanilla, espresso, cheesecake and pumpkin pie with bananas, blueberries and reeses on it. You pay 45 cents per ounce. I ended up paying like $8 for my yogurt. Whooopss. I have portion control issues...

After that I went to Target with them, and went straight to the CD section. I purchased the Florence and the Machine CD "Lungs". Now, I liked Florence way back before she was on the VMA's or whatever it was. She hooked me "Kiss With a Fist"

The beat is good, And I like the lyrics. And I liked her outfit. And basically her as a person. I'm excited to jam out to her other songs in my car though :)

Oh, and earlier in the day, I went to my salvation army, at like 5, because it usually closes at 7. Perfect, 2 hours to peruse the selection. Except apparently the holiday hours on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday are 'till 6! So I grabbed a shirt, a necklace, a purse (Dooney and Bourke vintage-looking knock off all the wayyy) and some mini pine-cone earrings. I took one of the little pine-cones and put it on a necklace chain, and it looks flipping amazing! Except it fell off sometime tonight in my adventures... But I have one more that I can use. Maybe I'll get a picture tomorrow.

Oh! I might be going to my international mall tomorrow! My boyfriend gave me a boyfriend coupon book, I'll have to show you pics of that too (I'm too tired to explain it), there's a coupon in it for a trip to the international mall. He knows there's an urban outfitters there. And he knows I like Urban outfitters. Good boyfriend, I know. And he's going to buy me lunch too. Ohhhh, whatta life:)

I like the lacy cardigan. All of the lacy cardigans I've come across were boxy or too see through. But this one is cute and drapey. The detailing on the top caught my eye also.

I've been seeing leopard cardigans around lately, and I have to say, they add a nice touch to an outfit. I also think pleats make an outfit look so crisp and cute.

Awwww man. I really like fur collars. Those are the one thing I cant seem to come across in my thrifting adventures. Same thing with boots like hers. If I came across a pair of boots like hers, I think i would die on the spot!

This was the outfit I wore Christmas eve. I went over to my cousin's house and we put on a little show. The Ding Darling's Debauchery Christmas Eve Extravaganza.... I think is what my Uncle called it. Anywho, I played a couple songs, but the crowd favorite was this one;

I didn't get a picture of my christmas outfit, but it involved a new thrifted black and white striped dress and green tights. Oh, and get this, the dress came with a matching cardigan :D
So anywho's, I absolutely love Christmas time, the reason? I get to spend time with my family. No lie.
      It hasn't really been about the presents this year or two years past, because my family hasn't had an abundance of money, but I'm okay with that. Besides, I did get a car for an early Christmas Present.
     But, I was thinking about it, and what do you get a 16-year old girl for Christmas? At this point in her life with all the birthday's and Christmas's she's experienced, she probably already has a laptop and cellphone and an ipod (except for in my case, I don't have any of those.... But I don't have a dire need for them except for maybe the cell phone. I've been out of a phone for like 2 months!). If she's musically inclined, you could probably buy her an instrument, that's true (Oh! I got a harmonica for Christmas folks!) But there will come a time, in most cases, when she has all the electronics she wants, or instruments she wants, and then what do the parents buy for that "big Christmas present"? It's just so easy to get kids Christmas presents, because almost everything pleases them.
     My mom got my 2nd cousins puppets and a puppet theatre, which was the perfect gift, because my one cousin, Kaelyn LOVES to put on puppet shows. She also got barbie dolls. And then her two year-old brother got on of those mini cars you can drive in (btw, I'm totally jealous of him, cause I totally wanted one of those as a kid, but didn't get one...). You can't buy those things for a 16 year-old girl.
     So, Christmas has become more about family for me. All I got for Christmas this year was a change counter, makeup, a razor, chapstick, a key chain, a hula guy for my dash, harmonica stuff and money. Sure, I had things on my Christmas list like an acoustic electric guitar and a traditional ukulele, but I already have an acoustic guitar and an acoustic electric ukulele, so I really don't need those things. I also had a point and shoot camera on there, because mine broke, but I just use my sister's camera all the time because she never uses it. It's all just stuff. I don't need a whole lot in life, because I have a really good life, and I have most the things I want.

Anyways, I went to the mall today, and I bought some stuff. Cause that's what ya usually do at the mall. Unless you're broke. I got two bras from Victoria's Secret a pair of jeans from Hollister, a beautiful beaded cardigan (in F21 of all places!) and some black oxfords from Aldo. I was overly ecstatic when I walked past F21 and I saw the cardigan in the window, you have no idea. I had $40 left to spend, and I was going to spend it wisely, and I didn't have much interest in anything else once I got the sweater. Oh mannnnn it's so yummy :)

Here are my shoes. I had to order them 'cause they didn't have the size I am in the store. So essited to get them:)
I was going to get them in brown, buttt, I found a pair just like them on the F21 website, in brown, for less.

I just love the green/blue color combination of the navajo print. I usually only see navajo print in rainbow colors, which can look a tad bit tacky at times. The white romper ( I think it's a romper...) is so crisp and doesn't distract from the jacket.

I love how she wears a bowling themed shirt with a skirt that could totally be fancy, but it still looks good. I mean, I feel that if I were to wear something like that, I would look ridiculous, but she looks fine.

I just absolutely love the color of that cardigan and the way it drapes. The paisley scarf was a perfect thing to pair with it too.

4. A Sidewalk Stroll by Blonde Bedhead
Sooo, I instantly liked the pattern of this shirt when I saw it. I mean, it would be such a versatile shirt to have. It's neutral, so you could wear it with pretty much anything, and you can dress it up by wearing it with a skirt (like here) or dress it down with a pair of jeans.

5. Old School by Natalie Off Duty
I'm definitely a fan of colored cardigans, so there's the reason why I like this look. I like the top too. It seems like one of those tops I would look over in a shop, though, because I would consider it "too trendy". But if you pair shirts like that with the right things, they look nice.

6. I'll Find My Soul When I Go Home by In a Sweater Poorly Knit

Okay, this jacket/cardigan is absolutely beautiful! The color of it is deep and rick, and pairing the blue dress just accentuates that.

I didn't have any pants left today, so I wore my sweater tights.

I might be out of a car for a day or week.... Which I'm not too happy about. They have to replace an air thing in it, and depending on where the service place gets it from depends on how long the repair will take. Bet hey, it's okay! It's not like I wanted to drive around and do stuff this week or anything.

I mean, I would like to go out and buy the Christmas presents I want to buy... 5 days before Christmas, but I'll just get my mom to drive me to get them. I mean, that's what she's there for, right?

Anyways, I watched Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World last night, and it was interesting. The movie is set up like a video game

I think Michael Cera is pretty awesome too, so, that added some points of awesome. I think they should make more movies like this. The only complaint I have about it is that the movie got confusing at times. Like, it would be reality at one moment, and the BAM videogamemode! But overall, I enjoyed it.

Soooo, I had a show choir performance right after school today, and then after that, I went to watch my boyfriend's singing group perform. It's called Ambassadors of Sound or something like that. It's pretty good. 4 guys and 5 girls. All high schoolers.

Tomorrow I will be attending the thespian drama one acts. They're basically like short plays, and high schools from all over the area will be participating. It's gonna be lots-o-fun!

I was considering giving this scarf to my friend as a Christmas present.... But it's actually pretty sufficient at keeping my neck warm, seeing that it's the biggest sized scarf I have... Decisions decisions...

I got a bonified real winter coat today! I got it from a discount store and it's all wooly and warm and delicious. :) It's not the trench coat I wanted, but it's still awesome!!!

And for your amusement, here's a driving story of mine;
There was a light on in my car that said I had to service my engine soon, which was odd, because at the time I had only had the car for a week, and I shouldn't have had to service it for another 1200 miles. So, I went into the dealership, which is off of a big, busy, highway-like road. Well, it turns into a highway at some point on it's way... Anyways, that's besides the point. So, it turns out that there's nothing serious wrong with the car, just something with the air compressor, and they send me on my way home, and that's where my trouble begins.
I'm driving along this big road, looking for the street I turn on to head home, and I can't find it. "Huh...." I think to myself, "Well, I'll just turn on this road and try to get to another street I know will take me home". Bad choice. Because that road didn't lead to the road I wanted, so I had to take another turn, until, eventually, I had tangled myself two/three counties away. I did eventually find my way home, after about an hour of being frustrated about being lost, getting excited because I thought I found my way, and then wanting to cry when I realized I was still lost. And you better believe that I was singing praises once I started seeing familiar things.

So, anyways, hope you're having a good weekend!

So, today I was so excited to get home from school after my show choir performance and go outside and take pictures and have beautiful images to present you with an yeahyeahyeahh. Some friends ended up coming over to surprise me and work on some acting stuff, and before I knew it, 6:00 had come around and the precious daylight had slipped away from me. So, I present you with these photos instead. :)

It's very evident that winter has arrived. And just like last year, I'm not prepared. As I do not have a winter coat... And I'm probably not going to be getting one anytime soon... Layers are my best friendd:)

Believe it or not, I was about to get rid of this dress, glad I didn't though, because I rekindled my like for it. And Target, besttttttt place to find tights. Hands down. I'm never dissapointed when I go to Target. Well, except for the last time I went and they didn't have any of the shoes in the store that they did online. I wanna stock up on oxfords! Christmas is around the corner though :)

So, the day I wore this outfit, the yearbook was going around taking pictures, and one of my friends asked me if she could take my picture for the fashion page! I was pretty estatic. I also got my picture taken with A for the couples page. Soooo, yeah, I'm gonna be in the yearbook this year for once.

Tomorrow, my school's musical theatre program is doing a show with a bunch of different musical pieces. I'm doing Never Never Land from Peter Pan, and we had t ocostume ourselves, and I feel pretty good about the outfit I came up with. Hopefully I'll get some pictures of it.

It's starting to be colder in the mornings. I've brought out my winter things. The air nips at my nose as I walk through the hallways of my school. Winter is on it's way.

There is apparently a bed bug epedemic affecting thrift stores and airplanes, which is causing me to choose to not step foot in a thrift store for 6 months. SIX MONTHS. I just can't risk getting bedbugs. I'm pretty bummed about it though. I went to Target and the mall the other day, in search of winter clothes, and everything was so expensive! It just really frustrated me. In a perfect world... All of my shopping would be done online. Like, seriously.
I wanted to get a pair of oxfords on my shoppping adventure at the mall. Seems simple enough, right? Wrongg. Online, stores like Forever21 and Aldo had these amazing oxfords, but they don't even have them in the stores. It was sooo frustrating. So, I'm going to try to convince my mom to do online shopping:)

So, Homecoming has come and gone, and my play that I was in is over as of tonight, and now I can finally relax. I have honestly been so tired, I've been getting to sleep at 11 on school nights and then waking up at 5:45 AM and leaving the school by 6 at the earliest for the past week. Yeahhh, now that the show's over, I'm kinda excited to have my life back, not gonna lie.

The first half of my Saturday, my friend L and I did a ukulele photo shoot. It was fun... And it was the first time I attempted doing a photo shoot of some kind. I wouldn't mind it if I got to do more...

Before the impromptu photoshoot though, L and I went to the Salvation Army to look for decades day outfits! Yayyy!

I really wanted this dress to fit me so I could wear it to homecoming... I just really don't like the shin crap they sell at Dillard's and whatnot for homecoming. Most of the dresses are satin-y and have loads of jewels on them. Not my style fersure.

Soooo, hey guys. I've been having an inspiration slump lately. And generally I've just been feeling weird. I've also gotten rid of many things from my closet, so, I haven't had much to work with. I've been craving a trip to the thrift store so badly, but it just hasn't happened. Plans I made to go with friends have fallen through or I'm just tired. I made plans to go thrifting this Saturday though. And if the people I invited can't go, then I'm just going to go by myself!

In other news, I got the part of the Grand Duchess Olga Katrina in my school play, if I haven't already told you. I don't think I have... So, anyways, she's Russian, which is a fun accent to do :)

Thursday, I'm going to Halloween Horror Nights. So stoked! I went to Howl-O-Scream a couple years ago at Busch Gardens, and it was pretty cool. But Halloween Horror Nights is at Universal Studios, which is involved with movie making and whatnot, so, overall it should be better. It's more expensive though..... Hopefully it'll be worth it though.

There was an audition at my school today for a short play called "Goodbye To the Clown". Such an awesome piece, it gets so emotional at the end. From what I understand, a little girl, Peggy, has an imaginary clown friend, who she makes up to deal with the pain of losing her dad. Then at the end, the clown leaves her and it's soooo emotional. I really hope I get the part of the mom.

Today in school, I finally got to practice my part in the play, The Royal Duchess Olga Katrina. I feel like I did pretty darn good. It's lots of fun doing a Russian accent, and I'm super excited about doing this part now.

I'm trying my best to not get overwhelmed with school work, and so far it's working. I went to Charelston, South Carolina this past weekend, for a pipe band competition. While there, my mom and I ventured downtown, and there was an Urban Outfitters. Then farther down the street, an American Apparel and a Steve Madden!! I was about ready to pack up all my stuff and move up to Charelston.

The Urban Outfitters there was awesome though, because the secod floor was all sales, so it made my shopping much easier, haha. I'm still saving up for my shopping spree there. I'll go when I have $500.

I'm on a life high at the moment, I'm just looking at everything with love instead of getting stressed out about things. For example, instead of thinking "mannn, it's a big bummer that I can't shop at Urban Outfitters" and being so sad I can't afford their stuff, I think "Urban Outfitters is so awesome, I love their clothes" and I get excited about shopping there. But I just view things more positively now and my outlook on life has changed. It's pretty nice:)

Everything from a local thrift store

I wore this outfit last Friday, when I had my show. Which went good by the way if I didn't already tell you. I finally got some decent high waist denim shorts, but I can't wear them to school because they'd be breaking dress code.

So, an Urban Outfitters has recently been added to a mall in my area, and I'm obsessed. It's expensive, but I love their shoes. And one of my friend get this super awesome shirt there that just made me go "ahhhhhh". So, I want to stop going thrifting and save up to buy something from there.

I'm a sucker for pastels, and this color is absolutely beautifullll. I'm jealous too, because she pulls off these trousers so well, and I can't seem to find a pair that I'm comfortable in...

I thought that the print of this skirt was super cute, and I liked that she wore it with a pink crop top. I would've paired it with something blue or green, it still looks good though. I'm also appreciating the boots.

She pulls of this turban soo well. The color of it is absolutely gorgeous also. The background of her pictures is cool too, and who doesn't like a floral dress?

In my blogging adventures, I come across many a-outfit, and some happen to catch my eye more than the others. And now, I'm going to share with you the ones that I favored over this past week. I'm going to try to make this a routine, every Wednesday, thing. Hopefully I'll be able to keep with it!

1. Lace and Suede from All the Pretty Birds

When I first saw this look, the first thing I fell in love with was the skirt. I liked the length of it, and I liked the fact that it wasn't skin tight. Then I saw the jacket, I mean, the green color looks so pretty with the white lace!

2.Let Your Love Grow Tall from Dollhouse

The vest! It's brocade, beautifully shaped, and pastel. And she kept the rest of the color palette pastel, so beautiful. I'm also a sucker for a button up skirt.

3. Shewolf from Heart City Vintage

I love quirky shirts. This outfit would be so awesome to wear on lazy days. The boots look super comfy, and they're neutral, so they'd go with anything. And of course I love the high waist denim cut offs. It's like they were made for the outfit.

4. Flowers For From Hand It Over
Once again with the pastels and the florals. I really think I would scream out in joy if I found a skirt like this. The bustier is so cute too!

5. Move Away From Me from Late Afternoon
Everything this woman wears looks good on her. If I wore this, I imagine I wouldn't be able to pull it off as well as her. Everything's so drapey and beautiful, and of course, pastels, again.

6. Pleats and Such from Another Day to Dress up
I appreciate any person who can pull off a maxi skirt, and I love the look of a pleated skirt, and the color is just a bonus. I would love to own this skirt. The top is nice also, I'm digging the box weaving.

I wore this sometime last week... Never got around to posting it. That seems to be happening a lot now a days...

Anyways, this shirt used to be long sleeved, but I didn't like it that way, so, off the came! I like it much better now. And matroshka dolls! I love those things! I have one in my house.

So, I'm leaving tomorrow at 10 for a week long camp, I have a post scheduled for Wednesday, so watch out for it! Oh, and when I get back, won't be posting pictures from the camp, seeing that my portable camera is broken. I mean, unless someone else takes pictures...

I made a little diary for my boy, since we can't use any electronics up there, I'll be writing about my experience and how much I miss him in the journal, and then give it to him when I get back. He's gonn love it sooooo much!

And I convinced my friends to write in it, sooo, basically, it's going to be the most awesome gift he's recieved. Ever.

This is what I wore to church Sunday, I managed to get a quick picture im before I had to leave for my busy work-filled day.

It's so humid outside lately, see that foggy spot in the first picture? Yeah, that's not a ghost, it's the humidity working on the camera lens. I do have to say though, I like my pictures located outside more than my bedroom or kitchen. I'm going to try to make a habit of taking them outside.

I've actually worn lots of outfits lately that I wish I would have taken a picture of, but I just never got around to it. Either I'm too tired to document them, or it's too dark to take pictures by the time I'm able to.

I'm leaving for a week long camp, Pioneer Plunge, on Saturday morning. I have a little something in mind for a scheduled post or two...

Anyways, I leave the day before A gets back from his 3 week stay up at Oklahoma City University. So, we're going a month without seeing eachother. I actually wrote a song about it:

Anywhoo, I should be shopping to get some of the stuff for the camp today. It's like a wilderness camp; no electricity, no running water, sleep in cabins or hammocks. Back to the basics, ya know.

My first offical pair of high waist shorts. I honestly thought that I'd never find a pair of shorts like this, and I was so happy when I found this pair.

I might go and see a production of Bye Bye Birdy tonight, I really hope my ride comes through...

I'm playing in a show tomorrow, singing and playing the guitar. I have a bout 8 songs in the set list and it's about 18 minutes long, and the set list needs to be about... 30 minutes long, at the least! Gotta find more songs to do...

So, I found a website today that sells fisheye cameras, and I kinda want one. I can either spend $70 for the first one or $50 for the second one. Hmm....

Anywho, I got the shoes I ordered the other day, and they were too big! So, I went and returned them today and asked for a smaller size. So, now I wait again.

Oh yeah, I got my license the other day! So now I have much more freedom to do whateva I want, wheneva I want. Yeauhh.

Hopefully I'll be going to the thrift store sometime this week, so I can get some shorts for a camp

Here's the mini guitar my boy let me borrow. I named her Sheila, anddddd I'll probably end up stealing her.

I learned how to play You Got A Friend in Me on it, because the boy wanted me to, I'll be recording it sometime soon, haha.

So, I went car browsing the other day, and my limit is about $3500 as of right now. I'm okay with it though, I mean, the cars weren't beautiful, but I kinda like the idea of having an ugly car...

Also, I may be tested for my license tomorrow :D

I went to the mall today and got two pairs of shoes:

But gahhh, shoes are so expensive! These were $40 a pair! But in my opinion, shoes are an investment, and from now on, I'll save up to buy a pair.
Seriously though, I'm not all that fond of the mall. Used to loveeeee it. Forever21 was my store. I basically lived in there. I just don't enjoy going in there and spending $20 for a shirt anymore though. I mean, If I reallllly like it, that's fine, the purchase would be worth it, but otherwise, I try not to buy anything, because I just wouldn't be able to afford it. I'd rather go to Playto's closet (a thrift shop that sells teen brands like Hollister, Abercrombie and also Forever21).

I haven't felt that inspired to do outfit posts lately. I've had drivers ed Monday thru Thursday, and I try to wear comfortable clothes.

Anywhoo, I my boyscout is leaving for a camp type thing in Oklabummer (Oklahoma) tomorrow and he'll be gone for 3 weeks

So, I'm spending the day with him today, seeing that it's his last day.

I did, however, get to steal his mini guitar that he never plays while he's gone. Hehe :)

Oh, and the day he gets back from the camp, I leave for a week long camp where no electronics are allowed.

But hey, they say that absence makes the heart grow fonder, right?

I am determined to buy a ukulele and learn how to play it!

The only problem is, I'm no expert on ukulele's, so I don't know what to look for. For example, I have no idea what the difference is between a soprano ukulele and a normal uke. Can anyone help me with my ukulele questions please? Can you get a good quality uke for $50? And if not, what's a reasonable price for a good quality ukulele?

Monday, I had a gig at my cafe, and I think I did pretty good. My mom told me I was the best out of the three acts. My set consisted of four originals and one cover song. I got good feedback, and I think I might start taking myself seriously as an artist.

Anywhoooo, I finally went to this one shop called Birdy's Costal Cottage yesterday, and I'm happy I did. They had a great selection of vintage rings and necklaces there. That's where I picked up that ring and the necklace with the ball in it. And for $10. They also had vintage compacts, which was purty coool also.

Today, I begin my adventure in summer driver's ed, and at the end of this journey, I shall obtain my license.
