Warming up to it

I went to the mall yesterday and I bought a dress. Three were so many other things I wanted to buy, but I just couldn't focus. I was going to buy a dress and a shirt from forever21, but I talked myself out of it.
I couldn't find the dress I bought on the pacsun website, but I'm probably going to wear it on Sunday, so you'll get pictures of it around then.

These are the two skirts I bought in previous shopping adventures. The first one is high waist, and the second one I wear at my hip.

Those were some mobile pics of me wearing the two skirts I bought and a dress I tried on. That shirt looks really good with the high waist skirt I think, but it made me fee like a clown because of those ruffles. Haha:)

Anyways, I had some friends come with me to the mall yesterday, which didn't help my shopping experience. I felt like I had to rush, so that's another reason why I couldn't focus that well on actually buying things. We took tons of pictures though.

Some of the pictures turned out bigger than others, don't know why...

Anyways, I'm going to try to make it over to the Salvation Army today. It's half off Wednesday!

Slacka

Sooo, I'm officaly permitified! I went to the DMV and got my drivers permit today. I need to get the courage to go out onto the road and drive though... I mean, I'll probably be able to go out and do it with time, otherwise I'll never learn how to drive!

And OHMYGOSH! I just logged onto my photobucket, and apparently my videos uploaded. The ones I tried to upload forever ago, got frustrated with trying to upload them, then gave up trying to upload them. Well, here's one of them.

So, anyways, I got my Nikon camera for my birthday. My mom found it for $130 at Costco. It's not everything I wanted it to be. The pictures come out grainy, and colored kind of orange-ish. And if someone moves while a picture is being taken, it turns out kind of blurry. The pictures are beautiful if they're taken during the day. But it can't take very good pictures at all during the night or in a dark area.

Sooo, I'm going to go meet with my mom's friend soon, the one who told me about Nikons and Canons being the best choice for a camera, and we're going to attempt to figure out which camera is best for me.

Here's a shirt I bought from the Salvation Army a while back and took in. Looks like my other flannel I got from there but hey, guess I just like those colors.

Haven't been wearing anything exciting lately. I need to stock up on summer clothes.

On Saturday, I went to the mall with my birthday money and got two skirts a shirt. Didn't get a chance to take pictures of them with my camera. Might do that later this week.

Oh, wow. So, I just discovered that the pictures I take with my new camera look different on the computer than they do on the camera screen. The background of this picture looks grainy on my camera screen, looks fine on the computer though...
I still want to get a camera that takes less blurry pictures though.
But I don't really know anything about cameras...
Gahhhh!

Sorry about not responding to your posts. I'll start responding to the comments on this post. I appreciate all of your lovely comments! Especially to the last post, it was great help.

Birthday

So, my mom said she'll spend $150 on a camera for my birthday.
My mom's friends works with professional cameras and she said that Nikon an dCanon are the best brand.
This is the camera my mom's friend suggested

I don't want to get a professional camera, so this'll work for now. Plus, it has a rechargeable battery, which seems to be a better choice then non-rechargeable batteries. The camera I have now takes two AA's, but it runs out of battery fairly quick. Which would be very frustrating when I bring it to camp in a couple of weeks, especially if I don't bring enough batteries.

It has a lot of cool features and it costs $150. I was looking for a canon camera, but they don't have as many features a the nikon coolpix, and they cost more.

I would love to be able to get a more expensive camera, just so I know I'm getting the best.
Like this one.

Oooooookay.
Here's my first pair of !!!$2.50!!! shoes. I've been looking for a pair like this for a while. And when I saw them, I was estatic. Then I tried them on, and I just about died. They fit me! I guess that's the good thing about having size 9 feet. I have an eaiser time fitting into mens shoes.
I'll try to get an outfit post up soon. I can't seem to find my camera... I took these pictures on my phone.

edit: I found my camera. Couldn't take any good pictures of a full outfit though.

same outfit as before

And here's my second pair for about another $2.50.
They're a little tight on me, and my dad had to liquid nail the sole to the bottom of the left shoe, but I fell in love with them. And they match pretty much everything in my closet.

I also bought and hemmed another flannel. I like the relaxed feel of them. And you can just throw them over a shirt on a lazy day, and look presentable enough to go outside. Haha:)

I was going to buy a white blazer, but they had shoulder pads in them. And I'm not too fond of shoulder pads. I feel like my frame is too small for them. I know I could just bring them to the tailor's and have them remove them but, come on.
What are the odds I'll ever get around to actually doing that?
But one of these times, I'll find a white blazer I like. I like the look of a white blazer with black pants and high heels. It's just so crisp.

By the way, I got my hair cut a little shorter yesterday.

Vest-Salvation Army Shirt-F21 Shorts-Bullhead(cut by me)
I seriously love this vest to death! I'm so glad I bought it, because I almost didn't, because it was too big for me. But I just took it in, and voila!

So, I guess today's the first day of summer, and my plans to see Drag Me To Hell fell through. I guess I might be seeing it tomorrow, my friend just needs to get the times and whatnot. I'm going to try to get my parents to drive me over to the Salvation Army today.

There's also this place called The Station I see every time I drive down Main Street. It's a thrift store. I've been in there before, and it's kind of dark and not put together as well as the Salvation Army, but I still want to go, just to see what's there.

Sophmore status.

So, today I'm offically a sophmore. Today was the last day of school, and the last day of exams. I took the only exam I had to take, which was my AP Human Geography exam. I got a D on it, but I got an overall B in the class. Which is very odd, because I got two C's and a B on the previous 3 report cards, and I wouldn't think getting a D on the exam would add up to a B for my overall final grade. But hey, I'm not complaining. I'm done with school for the next... 3 months, or however long summer is.

And..................... My birthday's in 11 days! I still need to take my drug and alcohol test so I can get my permit, which is a major bummer, because the readings for the practice quiz are like, a century and a half long. I'll get it done though.

I've decided I'm gonna post my outfits even if I don't think they're extremely stylish or chic. Because as a blog reader, I enjoy seeing pictures of outfits, extreme, or simple. I don't know, maybe it's just me.

I'm supposed to go and see Drag Me To Hell tomorrow. It'll be the first time I've seen a scary movie in the movie theaters. I just generally don't go to the movie theaters anymore, I just wait for movies to come out on DVD. Then when I watch them at my house, it gives me an excuse to invite friends over.

Oh, and that skirt I hemmed a couple of posts ago, yeah...... I kinda mutilated it. I thought I'd be able to fix it eaiser that way, because it looked weird on my butt when I pulled it up to my actual waist. It was all poofy, but not in a good way. So, I cut the seam on the side in hopes of figuring out a way to make that dissapear. I have a couple of ideas of how to fix it. I'm going to try making the waist band smaller. But I'm taking a break from it for now, because I'm getting frustrated.

I keep forgot to thank whoever is following me on bloglovin'. I was so estatic when I viewed my profile and saw that I had four followers! It may not seem like a lot, but to me, that's just so awesome! Thank you guys soooo much for following me! I'd also like to thank my one follower, Alissa Carter for following me also! And thank you guys for all of your lovely comments, I always look foward to reading them! I send my love out to all of you guys!
