Is what I got asked today in my drafting class about this vest.

I think I have some chocolate on my face in the first picture. Whoops. Haha.:)
My mom made some gluten free/dairy free chocolate peanut butter cookies. I thought they were pretty good, even though she burned some.
Anyways, this is a vest I got from the Salvation Army. I had to take it in, and my sewing machine was being a pain in the butt. I broke the sewing needle! I freaked out, because I thought that was the only one there was for the sewing machine in the house. Which would've stunk, because my mom would take forever to go out and buy a new one. But after some digging around in the sewing kit, I found a little case with four extra sewing needles.
Anyways, I loved the embroidery on it. When I first saw it, I didn't think it was anything special. But, upon further inspection, I decided it could work.
So, I found some batteries for my camera, kinda. I just put my SD card in my sister's professional-like camera, snapped some pics then transferred the SD card back to my camera. I found that there was a little bit of life in my camera, so I was able to get some pics up!
I went to the salvation army on Wednesday, 'cause everything's 1/2 off. I got a suprisingly good-fitting blazer, some shorts I just wear to bed, a dress I plan to turn into a skirt, a purse, a necklace, a belt, and that vest.
Once I get motivated, I'll post the clothes I bought that I don't plan on wearing anytime soon, including the things I got from Forever21.
I was kinda unmotivated for a couple days, because I broke up with my boyfriend. On Friday. I broke up with him. We've been on and off for 8 months or so. He's come to the conclusion that he's too immature for a relationship, and I agree with him at this point. And seeing how things were going with us, it was better that we broke it off. He said he saw no future with me. I thought it really didn't matter, considering it;s a high school relationship. But this was the third time we broke up, so I'm just going to leave it at that. I'm looking foward to building a friendship with him though, once we start talking again. That's the only reason I have to be sad lately, we don't talk to each other at all. Wasn't that sad over the breakup, don't know why....
In other news, I have ONE MORE AP test to go. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!

you can find all kinds of things at the salvation army store!
i really like the vest, and mm those cookies sound divine! xx
Cool vest! I love the details. I'm really sorry about the break-up. That sucks. I definitely know a thing or two about trying to have a relationship with an immature guy. Ugh.
Awww I am proud of you for being able to be strong with a boy. I don't know much about relationships, all I know is that I really would like to be in one. You see, I'm boy crazy, and have been single my entire life. I want to know what it's like to feel lust. I don't even need love right now. Just infatuation, and butterflies in the tummy... I don't know how to talk to boys, I always run away and shy.. :(
But enough about me and my lack of social skills around the opposite sex, it's time to talk about you and that vest. I think you are such a cutie, and the vest is perfection. I think it would look so fab paired with a blue ruffled blouse, boyfriend jeans, and big wedges. You could pull it off, I know you can
xoxoxoxoxo
love your hair!

Aww, that's not good. I broke up with my high school boyfriend of 3 years and it was hard. But then I met my current boyfriend and I have never been happier. Although things seem bad now, they will get better, I promise :D
On a more positive note I absolutely love that vest you're wearing. The embroidery and colours are amazing.
Thanks for my comment, I love your blog. Want to exchange links??

Lovely vest! What a great find. I wish I could find decent thrift stores near me.
Have a nice day :)
I cannot believe that vest came from Salvation Army. I'm dying of jealousy.
Love the vest! Good luck with your AP--it will be over soon!! And hopefully the silence with your ex boyfriend will be over soon, too.

And I really adore the embroidery on your vest. :)

Love the dress and vest! oh and those little shorts?adorable!
the vest is very eclectic, very cool. Reminds us of something Kate Moss might like to wear.
So sorry about the breakup, those are always hard. Glad you are ok with it at this point.
