Lazy-ing around

So, I haven't put up any posts in the week of my return because,
a) I was lazy
and
b) I left my camera at my camp

No need to worry though, because I get it back in about a week. My youth leader is going to a camp today, and to get there, you need to go through the camp I was staying at. So, once he gets back from the camp in a week, I will be reunited with my camera!

I do, however, still have pictures from the camp. Because I have two other memory cards that I filled.

Triple bunk beds!

The camp. That striped oversized pillow, is called the blob.
And here's how it works:

You jump off of this platform onto the blob.

Then you make your way to the end of the blob

Then someone jumps off the platform, and you get capulted off the end.

It's loads of fun!

There was also a swing.

And horseback riding.

This is a video of my friend being blobbed.

Anyway the wind blows

So, I've decided to show you some pictures of my closet.
Hmmm... That seems a lot more weird written down...
Anyways, I consider my closet a tad bit on the small side. As of now though, it fits all of my clothes, so I'm content.

Here's my whole closet. I couldn't get this picture to get to an angle that would prevent you from turning your head sideways, my apologies.

Here's where I keep my jeans. I used to have them hanging in my closet, but I needed some room, so I stacked them on a shelf, and I had a solution! (apologies for the angle again :/)

This is where I keep my skirts, shorts, undershirts, and the clothes I don't wear that often.

This is where I keep my shirts. And now that i look at it, I need to add some more yellow and red to my wardrobe...

And now, just for the heck of it, here's my sewing center.

Cozy, huh?

Well, I hope all of you have a lovely week. Happy Friday. This is another scheduled post by the way. Hopefully it posts on Friday. Or should I say today... Anyways, I'll be back on Sunday. And if I find the energy, I'll see what pictures I can post from my camp on... Monday or Tuesday.

7-6-09

If this scheduled post works out, it should be Monday, and I'm at camp having the time of my life.
I forgot to show you what my sister did to my nail on Wednesday night.

Kind of mosaic-like, right? I liked the outcome though.

So, I think I might have told you about a vest I was working on a while back. If I didn't, then I'll just show it to you now. And if I did, I'll just show you the pictures now.

When I decided I wanted to make a vest at the end of last summer, I hadn't originally planned on doing one in this color or material. But when I saw this material, i was sort of drawn to it. I liked that it was shiny, and that it was on sale. Haha:) So, I embarked on my adventure of making a vest. With the help of my mom's friend. She supplied the sewing machine and pattern. At one point, I wasn't able to work on it anymore, because my schedule got too hectic, and wasn't able to go over to my mom's friend's house anymore. So the project was abandoned for almost a whole year, until one day, when the vest was unearthed by my mother. Feeling more confident in my sewing skills, I decided to piece the vest together. And I'm still not finished, but, I have the vest together. I just have to alter it some in certain places so it fits my taste. Who knows when that will happen though. ;p

Off on an adventure

WHAT I WORE TODAY:

There's the other tie-dye shirt I got from Pacsun. My favorite colors:) I wore it yesterday.

Sooooo, my momma bought me a cowboy hat today. Now, you might be wondering, "Why in the world would she do that?" For I am not much of a cowboy hat type of girl. Well, she bought it because I need it for that week long camp I'm going to. There's a round up one of the days, and we need to bring cowboy clothes. It's going to be the best week of my life!

I didn't think it looked very good on me, but then put my hair in braided pigtails, and, hey! It didn't look that bad.
(Didn't take a picture, sorry)

So, there's a NO electronics (excluding cameras) at the camp. So, I'm preparing some scheduled posts. Nothing too exciting, just some informative things. Like about a vest I'm working on and stuff like that.

Anyways, I have to pack clothes for seven days. About two outfits per day (an active outfit and an outfit to hang out in).
I have a feeling my whole wardrobe is coming with me.
Haha:) But, I'm one of those people that packs stuff "just in case". "Oh, I might need an extra pair of pants... or five". Yeah, that's me. I'll have to try to control myself though. ;p
