Sooo, I'm officaly permitified! I went to the DMV and got my drivers permit today. I need to get the courage to go out onto the road and drive though... I mean, I'll probably be able to go out and do it with time, otherwise I'll never learn how to drive!
And OHMYGOSH! I just logged onto my photobucket, and apparently my videos uploaded. The ones I tried to upload forever ago, got frustrated with trying to upload them, then gave up trying to upload them. Well, here's one of them.
So, anyways, I got my Nikon camera for my birthday. My mom found it for $130 at Costco. It's not everything I wanted it to be. The pictures come out grainy, and colored kind of orange-ish. And if someone moves while a picture is being taken, it turns out kind of blurry. The pictures are beautiful if they're taken during the day. But it can't take very good pictures at all during the night or in a dark area.
Sooo, I'm going to go meet with my mom's friend soon, the one who told me about Nikons and Canons being the best choice for a camera, and we're going to attempt to figure out which camera is best for me.
Here's a shirt I bought from the Salvation Army a while back and took in. Looks like my other flannel I got from there but hey, guess I just like those colors.
Haven't been wearing anything exciting lately. I need to stock up on summer clothes.
On Saturday, I went to the mall with my birthday money and got two skirts a shirt. Didn't get a chance to take pictures of them with my camera. Might do that later this week.
Oh, wow. So, I just discovered that the pictures I take with my new camera look different on the computer than they do on the camera screen. The background of this picture looks grainy on my camera screen, looks fine on the computer though...
I still want to get a camera that takes less blurry pictures though.
But I don't really know anything about cameras...
Gahhhh!
Sorry about not responding to your posts. I'll start responding to the comments on this post. I appreciate all of your lovely comments! Especially to the last post, it was great help.

congrats for getting the permit :)
Ah, congrats on getting your permit! I can go whenever I want... I really should just get it out of the way and go earlier in the week while I still have a bit of motivation.
I hate dilemas involving electronics, or anything for that matter.
Hope you're having a nice day!
Ah, what, you can get your license when you're sixteen? Here you have to be sixteen and a half... It's almost been three months since my birthday but I haven't really been able to get to the DMV since I can't drive! Ah!
I use a Nikon D40. Usually they run around $450-ish, but I found mine for cheap ($250) on Craigslist. If you're okay with the secondhand part of it and usually meeting up with someone to obtain the thing, I would recommend trying to find something on there!
congrats on getting your permit ;)

Just play around with that camera settings! You'll find out what's right for you. :)
Congrats on your new camera! I love that flannel shirt of yours!
Pretty much all point and shoot cameras take really blurry pictures. They're really only intended for posed pictures in good light. You'll learn how to get the best possible pictures out of your camera in time, though.
I love the shirt! Perfect grunge.
congrats for everything :D
i have my license since year ago but never really brave to drive
COngrats!
Lovely video and lucky you to get that nikon! :D
I like the beautiful flannel
hi there! i also got camera for my birthday, actually what i wanted was canon digicam, but my father's friend recommended this camera, it's Kodak (i think it's originally from somewhere in Asia, Korea maybe). it's not expensive, and yes,i did have same trouble with you.
if someone moves while it's being taken, turns out blury.(you can see some picts blury in my blog)but when myself take picture of someone, it's just so clear. i think there's a tecnique of taking picture with it(and the owner of the camera has to figure it out).
fortunately it also have the ISO program thingy, and many programs inside the camera to take pictures such as with only one candle light etc etc, i still don't get used to those programs, but i think you should learn the programs inside your cam.
nikon is also great, and i believe every camera designed to take great pictures! =)
(sorry for my super super long comments)
