Monday, I had a gig at my cafe, and I think I did pretty good. My mom told me I was the best out of the three acts. My set consisted of four originals and one cover song. I got good feedback, and I think I might start taking myself seriously as an artist.

Anywhoooo, I finally went to this one shop called Birdy's Costal Cottage yesterday, and I'm happy I did. They had a great selection of vintage rings and necklaces there. That's where I picked up that ring and the necklace with the ball in it. And for $10. They also had vintage compacts, which was purty coool also.

Today, I begin my adventure in summer driver's ed, and at the end of this journey, I shall obtain my license.

Word vomit

Wow, way to not post for a week.

Anyways, I said I was going to post about IKEA, so, here it is.
It wasn't as much fun as I thought it was going to be, and I didn't get anything. I don't really have much else to say about it...
We went to Sam Ash before hand, to look for a minuature guitar, but the one I wanted was $200, and my budget was $50, which kind of sucks, since it's my sixteenth birthday present, but my family's pretty poor right now due to the cafe we own. I can't find anything I want that costs $50 though...

I had my birthday party last Saturday, and that sucked. We watched a movie and ate cake and the people I wanted to come didn't come. I was prettttty ticked off by the end of the night.
Then A left for a boyscout camp on Sunday, and he'll be back Saturday morning, so I don't get to see him allllll week. Buttt, he said he might be making me some moccasin slippers, so, hopefully he will:)
My sister also went to Jacksonville yesterday with her boy, and she won't be back 'till Wednesday.
But OHMYGOSH!!!!!! There is an Urban Outfitters near the hotel that she's staying at and I am super jealous! I asked her to buy me something, so she sent me some pictures of shoes, but I was too overwhelmed, so I told her that I'd buy something when I was actually IN an Urban Outfitters. There's an UO in Ybor, which is like, a 45 minute drive from my house, and I'm going to try to convince my momma to take me there.

I made plans to go to my local flea market this Sunday, so hopefully I'll find some cool stuff there.
Also, I made a trip to my local thrift store the other day and bought a shirt and two dresses. I've already hemmed the dresses and I'm wearing the shirt right now. And tomorrow, hopefully I'll be able to go to the Salvation Army, because it's half off Wednesday.

I wore this to to my boyfriend's dance recital on Friday. It was a good show. The little kids dances were a little painful to watch, because they have short attention spans, and that resulted in them forgetting the choreography The pieces my boy were in were good though.

So, yesterday was my birthday.
16 years old!!!!!!
I started off the day by working at my parent's cafe, made some nice money in tips, then I went home and cleaned my house to prepare for my boyfriend to come over to my house for the first time.Yeah, our 2 months is tomorrow, and he just came over to my house for the first time yesterday. That's only because I wasn't going to let him come over until my house was clean. I didn't want his first impression of my house to be dirty.
So, he came over, I showed him around, and he gave me my birthday present. It was a capo and some wayfarers. I had told him that I wanted Raybans, but didn't want him to get them for me, because they're so expensive! So he got me some knockoffs in my favorite color, purple. So sweet:)

Today, I'm going to Pico Rojo to eat, and I'm bringing along A. Afterwards, we're going to Ikea (My mom, sister, A and I) to look around at stuff to possibly buy for the cafe. After that, we're going to Peltz shoes, where I'm hoping to find some summer shoes and we're ending the adventure with a visit to Sam Ash to look at a guitar I want to get for my birthday. My grandma also wants to do a litttle birthday dinner deal too.

Today is going to be awesomeeee!

I went to graduation to sing today, it was pretty long and not that exciting. I'm probably going to hang at the boy's later. Then tomorrow, I'm hopefully going to retake the math portion of my CPT (College Placement Test). I got a 68 on it the first time I took it, and I needed a 72 to take a math class at the college.

This is just another way I wore this outfit today. I loveeeee these shoes.

Look at this cute belt! My mom said she had one back in the day. Actually, she usually says that about most things I buy from the thrift shop. She's gotten rid of it all though.....

I've been looking for a belt that hooks like this, and when I found this one, I was happy. I want to find one that has leaves on it, in all gold. Oh, and also, a while back, while I was in Forever21, I saw a really cool belt that was two white elephants and it hooked. I think it would be pretty cool to find one like that too.

So, this morning, I went to my boyfriend's (A) brother's (E) fifth grade graduation. It was so cuteee. Then afterwards we went to The Wing house, which was E's idea. Yeahhh, lol.

Tomorrow, I have to go and sing at the graduation ceremony for my highschool, then afterwards... I don't know. I might go tp A's house but before that, hopefully I'll clean the house up a tad.

Hope ya'll are having a great day!

Looking like a man

Shirt-Local Thrift Shop
Shoes- Sherrif's Youth Ranch
Jeans-Volcolm

Here are my man shoes that I bought yesterday. I'm still on the lookout for a cute pair of wingtips though.

So, today I took my final exams. I got a B on y Chem II exam. I think mostly because it was multiple choice, which I was thrilled about! That way, I didn't have to write out molar equations and stuff to do with stoichiometry.
Then I got a D on my drafting II exam.....and it was open book.... I was just kind of done with exams at this point. It was a 69.14%, so I almost got a c....

Tonight, I might be going to Cici's with some friends, to start off my summer and then tomorrow I'll be going to my boyfriend's brother's 5th grade graduation, which is adorable in my opinion! I never did have a 5th grade graduation, and I kinda wish I did...

Anyways, I hope you all are having a wonderful day!

High like that

Shorts/Vest-Thrift :: Shirt-F21

So, this is my first pair of high waist jean shorts, made from an old pair of jeans. They're kind of baggy in the butt, I should have taken a picture standing up to illustrate. I'm still hoping I'll find a pair of good high waist shorts, but it's so hard to tell if a pair of jeans wil make a good pair of high waist shorts.

I wen tthrifting today at the Sherrif's Youth Ranch today. My original intention was to find some shoes, and the selection was hugeeee, but there weren't many in my size. But I did come away with a pait of oxford-like shoes and some pink Ked-like shoes.

I was going to get a pair of wingtips, but when I tried them on, I realized that one was a bigger size than the other. Upon closer inspection, it turned out they had different designs on them also. It was pretty bogas.

Anyways, I also got two cool belts, a skirt/dress, and two shirts. I'm hoping to hit a couple more thrift stores once school gets out (which is tomorrow for me!!!), to see what kind of summer clothes I can find. I'll mostly be looking for shoes, because that's what seems to be piquing my intrest lately.

Anyways, I have to go study for my Chen II exam, I hope ya'll are havin ga great week!

It's about time...

Shirt/Cardigan/Cardigan-F21 :: Belt-Gift :: Skirt-Thrifted :: Tights-Khol's :: Shoes-Charolette Russe

This is what I wore to take my first exam on Friday. It was my AP exam and I got a C on it, which is probably the best grade I've ever gotten on a test in his class ever. Sad, I know. I don't know why I continue to take AP classes, because history isn't the easiest subject for me. I didn't decide to take AP US History next year.

In fact, I'm going to be doing dual enrollment next year. Which means I'll be taking some classes at a college, and some classes at my high school. I get some college credits this way, but I also still get to experience high school, which is a good deal.

So anyways, on Friday, after exams, I went out shopping for a present for my boyfriend, seeing that it was his sixteenth birthday party later in the night. I ended up splitting the price of the first season of Glee with a friend, it was like, $32 on sale! I thought that was a tad bit pricey.
Anyways, I chose that as his gift because we keep saying that we're going to have a "glate" (see what I did there? I put "Glee" and "date" together, and came up with glate. Clever, I know.) but he could never get a hold of a copy. So, now that won't be a problem. :)

I didn't do much on Saturday, just watched "The Last House on the Left" an "Alice in Wonderland".

The "Last House on the Left" had some pretty messed up parts in it, but the ending was satisfying.

Alice in Wonderland was just visually awesomeeee. From the outfits to the the scenery, it was like an awesome-ness explosion.

Now, I have to study for my English II exam that I have to take tomorrow.
Not very excited about that... Or the Chemistry II exam and Drafting II exam I have too take Tuesday....
Butttttttt, after that...
M,Y SUMMER OFFICIALLY BEGINS!

Oh happy day:)
