Lets try this again.

Okay, so here's that post my computer DELETED yesterday.

So, here's the blazer, shirt, and skirt I got from the Goodwill from like... 2 weeks ago. I ended up hemming the blazer to a size that was generally pleasing to me. But let me tell you, it wasn't easy. Took me about 5 tries. And I don't have a seam ripper. Yeah, pain in the butt.

So I don't know if the skirt is really me. It might because the outfit isn't good with it, but I don't know for sure. I never wear skirts. I would appreciate it if you guys have any ideas of shirts that would look good with it. I could also make a shirt out of it. Just put a cardigan and belt over it, it could work.

There's the detail of the skirt.

I need to get some grey tights and some black tights. Did I mention that in my last post? Oh well, I'll say it again. Got a hole in my black tights. I could just do the whole "rip holes to make it look grungy" thing, but I don't think my mom would be too keen on the idea of it. And I don't know if I'd like the look on myself.

Anybody have any ideas on what I should do with the skirt?
I might try to put it up on ebay. But that's a whole other adventure for another day.

I love your blazer! It looks fab. If you're not comfortable in the skirt, I wouldn't advise wearing it just because it's not worth it. But it looks cute though.

Well, have a nice day! :D

I reckon on the skirt you should turn it into a bubble skirt. but thats just for my personal taste.

Hey doll! Sorrry I havn't been on here for a while. You know how it can be :) As for th eoutift I actually quite like it. Congrats on FINALLY getting that hem right on the blazer lol. Sounds and looks like it would be absolutely tricky! :(

Failproof method in coordinating tops with bottoms is to pick a colour featured in either piece, select a different hue off that colour palette and VOILA. With that said though if it isn't 'really you' then don't forces the pieces oto yourself. As they say 'wear your clothes, don't let your clothes wear you..."

Hope all is well! :D

I love this whole outfit, but I also have an idea. I would roll/scrunch up the sleeves of the blazer and cinch the whole thing with a belt. The pattern of the skirt is adorable, you should definitely keep it!

Love your blog =)

I actually really like this outfit. The oversized blazer is a perfect fit and the skirt looks really nice. Goodwill is the best.

i really like the skirt! maybe hem it a little shorter? short always looks cute :D
i think that any kind of top would work with it (tank top, strapless, etc.) but it would look cute as a top itself! :D
